This is an excellent red dot sight. Metal parts include the tube, the mounting platform, and the adjustment knobs. Lens caps are a quality plastic. Comes with 2 batteries that last for a long while. Dot is crisp and not just a smudge. There is no need to pay more when this is such an excellent red dot.
