this gun is crapy it broke in the first 2 days i had it. first it was the stock and we had to take the gun apart then it was the bolts screw but this gun still has some value if you upgrade it.

This gun convinced me to take up the sniper role. For $115 then about $35 for an upgrade kit it rivals rifles over twice its price. Two problems though: 1)The hop-up access on some may be obscured by the outer barrel. I dremeled mine out with no issues. The hop-up is also a pain since it takes an allen key to adjust. There was also an issue with the alignment of the hop-up which the techs at Trinity took care of and made a note to be on the lookout for. They really care folks! 2) The trigger is VERY heavy. I didn't think much of this till I started shooting something with a zero trigger. Although it is pretty hefty it never affected my shots, at least while shooting from a rest.

For the price it cannot be beaten. Fabulous gun!

well i will just give you a list of pros and cons
Pros:
very powerfull for being stock
body does not flex or creak AT ALL
comes with three mags
has an adjustable stock
the bolt is very smooth and has barely any wobble
pretty quiet (ideal for sniping)
has a 30 day warranty by echo 1
very manuverable
upgradable with aps2 parts
it is very accurate (i can hit a can at 75ft consistantly and can get body shots at 150ft consistantly and i probably could get some one at about 175ft but that would be like a 70% chance. max range is about 210 ft. the review below says you could hit some one at 250 to 300 ft there is no way it could do that all at least with my gun and all my distances are measued exactly.)

Cons:
bibod is not very good (mine was missing a piece and will not stay on the gun it just falls off after awhile but it is still nice with the rubber feet and extendable legs.)
the stock on mine will slide forward if you put to much pressure on it but it can be adjusted. i adjusted mine and it was perfectly fine after that.
it will over hop like crazy so you must take it apart and sand down on the hop up arm so it will not put as much pressure on the bucking and that will fix your problem.
mags get stuck in the gun sometimes (make sure and dont over load the mags or they will be very hard to put in.)
my barrel was really really dirty
there is way to much grease on the bolt and safety
paint scratches easily
bolt pull is hard at first but it loosens up after a while.

conculsion: a great gun and an excellent buy 115 bucks for a sweet gun and three mags BUY IT!!

The ASR is pretty amazing right out of the box. I'm using Madbull .28s with a TruGlow red dot sight, and I am able to hit an aluminum soda can at 140 feet. I have yet to try it in a game, but hitting center mass on a person at 250-300 feet would be no problem at all. Its construction is very solid, I would say about 50/50 metal to plastic, with the plastic being of good tough quality. Nice weight and feel to it. Bolt and trigger pull are a bit tough, but that should fix itself with some breaking in. The only problems that I had were that the hop-up adjustment screw is not aligned right, and I cannot turn it. For me, thats not a problem though, because it already seems to be set in the perfect position. Also, the moving parts on the gun were excessively greased up, and my first few shots resulted in a big glob og grease appearing on the outside of the bolt. Overall, I would highly recommend this gun. It shoots hard, and there is also an upgrade kit which i have yet to check out. The shipping was prompt and the service excellent. Thank you Trinity Airsoft!
