HiTech offers one of the best airsoft chargers on the market.  This charger features: auto detect, auto shut-off and discharge capability.  This unit will charge both NiCad and NiMH batteries.  It has a slow trickle charge and a fast charge mode. 
 
It is capable of charging batteries that are 2 cells up to 10 cells.  Unlike most of the cheaper battery chargers, which do not turn themselves off, the Intelligent charger will shut off when the charge cycle is complete.  This will prevent your battery from overheating, overcharging, and possibly melting.  
 
The Intelligent Charger comes standard with a large connector, if your battery has a small connector, you will need to pick up an adaptor.
