This is an excellent, excellent, excellent airsoft weapon. Tokyo Marui has once again outdone themselves here, as this is by far the best sidearm I've owned, and I've had Tanaka, KJW, AE, and have seen and tried many more. First of all, the gun is absolutely gorgeous in every sense of the term. The finish is perfect, the weight is balanced, the faux wood grips look fine, and though some may buy real wood ones I wouldn't deem it absolutely necessary. The trades are awesome, and you really learn to appreciate them when you see a M1911 without trades (the WE Tech for example, which looks naked with no trades and an ugly grayish finish). The gun is very very powerful, has surprising range, and makes the most pleasant 'crack' and a strong kick when fired. I have used this gun as a primary when my AEG was being repaired (here at trinity), and I was able to hold my own, with only the single stock magazine. If used properly and taken care of, this gun cannot fail you. I recommend this gun to anyone who needs a great sidearm, anyone who loves WWII and/or the M1911, and anyone who cannot afford to have a lousy backup gun. The TM M1911 is worth every penny.
