The SAT VVD (Variable Velocity Device) is an innovative and unique way to solve the issue of using your AEG in both field and CQB operations. The set includes a high quality polycarb piston with full steel teeth, metal piston head and adjustment tool.
The key to the VVD is the piston head that has vents which can be adjusted to three(3) different positions to alter the airflow and thus increase or decrease the fps of your AEG without changing the spring. To adjust the head position, SAT includes a modular tool that will go down the barrel to access the piston head.
The adjustment tool is self contained so that you can carry it with you to the field. To use the tool, remove the separate rods and screw them together, end to end, and attach to the handle. The overall length of the tool once it is assembled is approximately 700mm, so you will have plenty of the length to work with most AEGS.
When using the VVD, position 1 provides full power, position 2 will decrease fps by approximately 20% and position 3 will reduce fps by approximately 40%.
