Trinity's Take:
This is a unique airsoft rifle from Well. At first glance this is just another Type 96 -there are lots of them these days. Upon closer inspection, you will find some pretty cool features that set this gun apart from others.
The first thing to take note of is the rear mono-pod that will allow one to adjust the height of the rear of the gun. This makes for a more comfortable shooting position which will make your shoots more accurate. Also at the rear of the gun is a nice thick rubber butt plate that has three (3) removable adjustment plates that will allow each shooter to adjust the distance between shoulder and trigger. Again, this makes shooting more comfortable.
One really neat feature is that the rear portion of stock from the trigger back is foldable. The MB08 has a sturdy hinge that lets the rear to fold to the left side making the gun more compact for transportation.
As with most Type 96 models, the MB08 has the standard Type 96 trigger box with polymer casing which is generally fine for fps' up to around 500. However, it is compatible with the TSD Metal Type 96 trigger box which is highly recommended when upgrading to fps' over 500.
Overall, the Well MB08 has solid performance out of the box with an fps ranging between 420-440 with .20g and respectable accuracy. Well includes a metal folding bipod with adjustable legs and a front tri-rail accessory attachment system. Definitely worth a look.
