Things to note about my rating of this product:

1. I did not purchase it from Trinity.
2. My M4A1 is the G1 series gearbox, and is 4 years old.
3. I performed regular maintenance on my AEG to include full gearbox teardown and internal cleaning/regreasing.
4. I mainly shoot this weapon in semi-automatic; full-auto is rare.

There is a reason I have narrowed down my brand loyalty to KWA in not only their AEG's, but GBB pistols as well. This AEG has been an absolutely pleasure to own for the four years I have had it. During this time period I have put well over 60,000 rounds through the gearbox. Its been dropped, thrown, scratched, painted, and repainted more times than I can remember. Yet even to this day, with the only upgrades having been a MADBULL 6.01 tightbore and putting loctite on the cylinder head, It still shoots a consistent 410 FPS with .25's (440 with .20's) and easily reaches targets at DMR ranges (150ft+). I have had to replace no internal parts whatsoever during its lifetime.

I have used other AEG brands and their external quality and internal part reliability has never come close. So long as KWA continues to produce a consistent, dependable product I will be a consistent, dependable customer.

You CANNOT go wrong with a KWA AEG.

Please note, with the upgrade to the newer 2GX mechbox KWA did drop the spring back a bit and average a slightly lower fps of around 390-400 with .20g.

this is a great gun that should be treated like one use only high quality bbs to keep your gun working and maximize affetiveness it it a lot heavier than some guns due to its metal body it is one of the most realistic feeling and looking gun ive seen and this is not my first gun great fire rate and it shoots straight good job by trinitygettin the gun hear very fast even tho they basicly messed up my last order by sending me a broken gun and when i put all the stuff back in the box to send it back they sent it back wit the extra clip i bought missing but i love the way trinity is set up and it was probly a one time thing a problem with the gun is that just because the gun is lipo ready doesnt mean ur buying a lipo the battery compartment has to plastic things that come out of the bottom grip that would perfectly fit a lipo but no other battery nad the top grip has a bar running from the barrel to the gun simulating a gas line on the real gun other then the battery fitting it is a must buy if you by a gun by a kwa you will most likly never need to buy another great internals built to last and it doesnt get much better the kwa g-36 is an amazing gun as well

Awesome AEG!!!!!!!!!! I bought it for my son as a cheaper/less fancy alternative to the SR-10. It functions just as well in the field as my SR-10, nailing opponents far beyond the range of any of our prior AEGs (JG, ECHO-1), for nearly $100 less. This is the best gun for the best price I've seen yet!

Awesome gun! I just pwn with this gun on the battlefield. It's perfect for CQB and Field gameplay. You may have to downgrade for CQB. I had to and I don't really like the CQB version of the M4. Chose this over G&P because I couldn't spend too much money and I couldn't afford upgrades.. I needed beefy gun right out of the box. KWA was the answer. I'm not saying G&P is better than KWA. It's more of equal unless you upgrade the crap out of it. You can't go wrong with either.

Pros-
-High rate of fire. Screams with 9.6v
-Matte body unlike the old ugly shiny ones
-Functioning charging handle and imitation bolt.
-The mag release does have a screw but it's still looks realistic
-If you have to use a lipoly get it reshimed and regreased first. No gun is lipoly ready.
-Sturdy as a rock.
-New logo looks awesome.
-Internals are solid. 2G Hopup and 2G gearbox provide good accuracy. You need to clean the barrel and hopup first for good accuracy.
-Tightbore is all you need to make this gun perfect.
-45 day warranty.
-Selector switch clicks into place.
- Plastic is great quality.

Cons-
-I wish it was more realistic like VFC but hey superb internals over realistic externals.
-Body scratches. Not a big deal. Just around the buffer tube and selector.
-Nothing else. You wont regret it unless you get a defect.

This was my first gun and I have say it is phenomelal to an airsoft beginner. I was stunned when I picked it up and felt it's weight...... My friends who are more experienced were laughing at the lack of fps but they were crying when they got shot with it.... However this gun shoots very well and has stood up to over 20,000 bbs so far! The internals are also excellent. Also, my friend reccommends a tightbore barrel cause he mearued this and it was 6.07? So it will spray a little on full auto but it awesome at 200- ft with semi Auto. Also the stock mag is excellent... I can spray a whole mag without having to wind more than twice

Right out of the box this thing shoots amazing with a great rof (rate of fire)If I had to describe it, I would say "Must BUY"
When I first got it I started to charge my 11.1 1600 mah lipo battery right away. This KWAM4 comes lipo ready and this isn't a lie. On lipo power this thing really rips. This is actually a very heavy gun because of the metal but probably if your 13 and older it won't be a problem (unless your a big kid.) Anyways another thing I should mention is the 6 position collapseable stock. I thought this was a very nice detail KWA puts in most of there AEG's (airsoft electric guns). So don't worry about its size. The manual by the way actually gives you a list of common problems and how to fix them. When I got mine it was mis feeding on semi-auto but with there solution I was shooting semi-auto consistantly. When I shot this thing on lipo my friends were almost freaked out by the noise (some may not like it but I like the intimidation it brings). I suggest getting extra mags because a 350rnd midcap magazine runs out fast in a firefight. So if I come buy a problem I will post it but for now I think this is an awesome gun that will serve many years
