Trinity's Take:
This is the newest version from JG with a redesigned hand guard. The new hand guard has rounded bottom sides and initially we did not think we would like this. However, once we got hands on it, it turns out to be more comfortable to hold and use than the previous models. It also gives the gun a different look.
JG's S-System has been one of their best sellers for years and should continue to be the choice for many serious players. The AEG provides plenty of versatility with the full length sight rail and front accessory rails. There is plenty of room for a wide variety of optics, tactical lights, lasers, and vertical grips. Couple this with the above average fps (400-420ish with .20g) and a good solid rate of fire 800-850 rpm and you have a very capable package.
The only real drawbacks we can see, and this applies to most JGs, is the lack of any real logos or trademarks. Some nice JG marking would make the gun look a lot less..well...plain.
The bottom line is that the S-System continues to be a very great gun from JG and would make a great choice for field play.
